While volunteering to do the need assessment exercise for FaithActs, I never realized that the one I visited was so financially strapped. Having spoken to this person, I began to get to know his background better and how a social agency is needed to help people like that. It was an eye-opener for me.
It was my pleasure being a part of 2010's President Challenge at the Istana with FaithActs being one of the main beneficiaries. Having performed an item with about 20 FaithActs youth, I was deeply touched by their enthusiasm in putting up a great show and enjoying the whole process of it. They were wonderful performers who really liven up the whole song and were the true meaning to why the President's Challenge was initiated. My heartiest gratitude goes out to the organizers, "the core of FaithActs", they were very encouraging and grateful. Their unconditional support for the youth and sincere care that extends outside of FaithActs is commendable!! All in all, I am proud and happy to be a part of FaithActs! Thank you.
As my family faced financial difficulties, it is a constant worry for me whether or not I will have enough money for my education. When times got hard, I had to work part time and it was struggle because I had to juggle between a huge load of homework and work. I'm grateful for the scholarship FaithActs has given me as it has taken a burden off my shoulders.
I'm very happy to support FaithActs given its wide coverage of people in need at the Tanglin/Commonwealth area helping those in financial need, providing free tuition and wholesome games / activities for the youths as well as even catering to the senior citizens. This makes my donation go much further. I happened to meet one of the families who received help through FaithActs and she was so happy that FaithActs took interest in their case. Well done and keep up the great work, FaithActs!
As the organizer of the Keppel Club Charity Golf, we like to show our support for the FaithActs youths. The gift donation is an appreciation to the participants in the sports and creative arts programme. We hope that the funding will be a great help to the youth's future endeavors.
I'm proud being part of this project which has directly and indirectly impacted so many lives. The whole idea is in-sync with my life's value of adding significance by making a difference. I give thanks to FaithActs for the opportunity given for me to contribute to the community, region and beyond.
