Targeted at Primary 2s who are weak in English...

The Early Learning Programme Plus (ELP+) is done in conjunction with EDIS Cares and is targeted at Primary 2s who are weak in English. The programme aims to support them by plugging any gaps in basic grammar, reading comprehension, and writing. The programme also helps to identify children who may have special learning needs so that early intervention measures can be taken to help them in their education in the future. VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS Volunteers must be comfortable with teaching English to children and be able to maintain their composure. To tutor up to 2 students. VOLUNTEER RESPONSIBILITIES AND COMMITMENT To teach the children grammar, reading comprehension, and writing. Volunteers must be able to attend commit for one run (3 months).
